I was skeptical having seen the book on a lot of online sources, but I finally got the chance to look through it at a local indy bookstore. This journal gives so many structured options on how to use it that still allows for a lot of creative freedom. And whereas most reading journals I've come across have questions like "Who is the target audience?" or "What was the author's goal?", this one asks you more personal questions about your own takeaways from the book. While gothic isn't my typical style, I love the wood block style design. I would love to see this journal made in different themes! Something like fantasy dragons/fairies, sci-fi, green witch, or even just cozy.

I got this for my daughter- loves- I saw how well laid out it is and got one for myself too! She was impressed with the binding and the quality of paper used.

Absolutely love this reading journal! Artwork is gorgeous. I’m an avid reader (and have been for years and years) and finding it practical and delightful at same time. Did think there was stickers but it’s just paper however it’s still 10/10. Love :heart:️

I was given this journal as a Christmas gift. The quality of the printing is low, with many pages appearing pixelated. One page was printed upside down (but only 1 page, not the full 4 page spread - unsure how this happens).
It appears much of the artwork is AI generated, which is disappointing to see. I do not recommend purchasing this journal.

This journal is a dark romance/gothic girls dream come true!! The cover is gorgeous and the little additions with the foil makes it stand out! I love the quality and thickness of the pages. The art is dark and spooky. And the bookshelf pages are my favorite. Seeing that I have a never-ending tbr, I wish there were a few more pages of the To Be Read. I stumbled upon this journal in Barnes and Noble and it was love at 1st sight.
It's pretty perfect. I love using fountain pens so I do wish the pages were a bit thicker, but I'm looking forward to using it and already considering buying a second one.
I haven't begun using it yet, but I chose this one as it ticks all the boxes for what I want in a reading journal, and the Gothic night themes are fantastic! Looking forward to using the washi tape and the stickers in my October journal 😀
I have to admit that the Reading Journal is nothing like reading journals I have seen before. I love that the pages can be colored to add my own person touch. It can be started at anytime as it is not date specific and you can read and journal at your own pace. It can be a hardback, paperback, audiobook (my favorite version), and e-book. You can set reading challanges for your self and/or with others. Im also one of those people who likes to smell their new journals as I love the smell of new pages and the ink. Nothing beats that smell of a new adventure to be had. I got one for myself and one for my mom. Im sure we will have lots to discuss about our currents reads and recommendations for future reads. The ONLY book journal I've ever actually been excited to to continue using. It speaks to my dark heart and is PERFECT for the books that I read. There are a few things I would tweak (like more TBR pages, and a spice tasting option on the review pages) but all things considered I will absolutely be buying another one when I go this one up!
Beautiful journal and vinyl stickers. I love the theme. The pages are on the thinner side and I wish there was some sort of closure. But I love it. As usual, conquest sent extras, which is much appreciated.
I got this journal as a Birthday present and it is SO cool!! I love the style and aesthetic of it so much.
There are a lot of cool prompts in the journal that gives you different ways to document the books you've read, and it still has plenty of pages to write down book reviews.
The double ribbon is super useful so you can hold several pages/sections at a time (I'm marking the TBR log and the Book Review pages).

Absolutely love my reading journal. I've been looking at journals for a while and all I was finding was boring basic ones. Until I found Con*quest. Having the how to use section at the beginning is brilliant so I don't have to go looking for help online. Will definitely be buying more from Con*quest in the future.
