A couple of fantastic customers and friends (Michelle and Jessica, you know who you are!) of ours have let us use pictures they have taken of their journal pages! Many times at the conventions, customers come back several times to look through our examples for page ideas. Here are some new really cool pages and I love them all. Whether you journal and write a lot, just stick photos on the pages or stick your badges, tickets stubs and receipts to the page (hey, I paste the Jimmy John’s menu on mine often) make your journal your own. You do you. <3
I have crazy journal envy! I love how she hole punched extra inserts, pinned buttons to the page and added her own game demo notes from Gen Con.
Jessica had lots of great photo ops, autographs and artwork that she put in the protective sleeves in her Survivor’s Journal. I love the original art!
Lookie who’s holding our Carry On bag on stage!
If we could have, we probably would have sprawled on the hood for Whitesnake like photos.
Last weekend I vended at Creation Entertainment’s Supernatural Nashville convention. It was my first con this year without my business partner, Ted, and I was pretty freaked out about that. But our fantastic artist and friend, Tracey Gurney, was with me the whole time and our tables were together. We teamed up and both had fantastic shows! The icing on the cake was when a customer, who was wearing her Carry On tote bag holding her Hunter’s Journal, was the last one to ask a question during the J2 panel and Jared grabbed her bag and journal! He held them for a bit on stage and that’s pretty freaking fantastic. Thank you Nashville and we can’t wait to see our SPN family in Vegas!
I’m smiliing here so at least I wasn’t in trouble.
Willie’s fortune to me read: “You will receive a letter soon, and that letter can easily be said to change the course of your life. You deserve this happiness because you have been so faithful and sincere in your love.”
Cheesing it with this giant guitar in front of the Grand Ole Opry
So this was the selfie spot on the sidewalk? But that giant guitar seems so little from here!
Table sest up with our new banners!
Look at all of our stickers and thingz!
The star artist and designer, autographing a customer’s Hunter’s Journal
Sigh. I love this all and I need this hangy thing that Tracey had. Where do I get one?
These awesome ladies said our journals MADE their cons for them. This is why we make them and I love it.
Look at this page! Anita bought a leather Hunter’s Journal and stuck buttons through the pages by each autographs! Our pages are thick card stock so they don’t rip. I frickin love this!
Abaddon cosply on fleek!
She made this Moose costume by hand. Adorable!

We started our first Road So Far Hunter’s Journal at Phoenix Comic Con when we debuted our new fandom inspired journals. You can see my video walk-through here. We filled it up and I was so lucky to get my final autographs to complete it at the Creation Entertainment Supernatural Jacksonville convention. LOOKEY! *gasp*
I babbled like an idiot to Jared and barely spoke to Jensen. #fail
I started our second Hunter’s Journal in Pasadena and filled it up in Jacksonville. Each journal I do is a little different and I made sure to fill a page with signatures from the Jaxcon peeps! This is something I want to do at every show.
Below are shots of all of my new pages. I love them so much! Some people say “This must have taken you a long time!” The answer is honestly no. I will take my journal into one or two panels, jot down my favorite things they say while I’m sitting there, take a few photos and then it’s ready to go! That was our goal with these journals, to just jot your stuff down, stick you convention photos, ticket stubs and stuff on the pages and bam – you’ve got this great book that only took a few minutes to put together!
My journal and our new Carry On bag
I want to add more to the inside front cover. I love using Silver Sharpie!
I added our Jimmy John’s menu and phone number to our schedule page!
My Crowley spread! You can move the pages and sleeves around to make different spreads
Our JaxCon signature page! <3
Our SPN Family pages start with family and friends <3
Don’t let anyone tell you the photographers aren’t rock stars in their own rite.
One of my favorite parts of our journals are the Panel Notes pages. It’s so fun to write down and remember funny quotes!
My daughter took this great shot of Ruth Connell at ChiCon so I printed it before this show and taped it to the page
I add pictures from different conventions. The top one was taken at PasCon and the other two were from JaxCon.
I have room to add more, I need to take some costume contest pictures!
I dedicated my last page to the incredible Saturday Night Special concert!
I added my photo-op with Osric along with some of Creation’s 8 x 10 stills.
I also use one of our zipper pouches to collect the stuff I want to stick on the pages later.
These are just my ideas, you can do anything you want with your own pages! Move them around, stick stuff anywhere, that’s what these are made for!
If you want to have one of the most intimate, memorable and amazing experiences with the cast of Supernatural and the SPN Family, you’ve got to go to Creation Entertainment Supernatural Convention. They are such special events!
If you have questions or ideas, comment below, I’d love to hear them!
We wanted to make a bag to carry around your Road So Far Hunter’s Journal that is just as cool as the journal is. Our favorite artist Tracey Gurney created a design to do just that for our long handled convention tote bag! Our custom canvas bag features a black protection symbol sun, Carry On in the center, and the angelic handprint silk screened on the front, two inside pockets, black stitching and an extra long handle. At only $12, you’ll want to grip it tight and raise from perdition for your next convention! ORDER HERE.
Carry on our wayward son, carry it in this bag
At conventions, we have our journals sitting out on the tables for everyone to flip through and get ideas for their own journals. At the Creation Entertainment Supernatural conventions, I’ve had customers take pictures of our journal so they could remember our layouts. For anyone who didn’t get those pictures or who just wants to see ours, I made a quick video where I flip through our favorite journal and put it on Youtube! View it HERE.
We’re going to be adding more new merch to the site, so follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and watch for our announcements!
Thank you so much for all of the support!
